In Q4 2022, several tools apps on the Android platform in France exhibited notable performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

EDF & MOI from Groupe EDF had a consistent download trend with a peak of around 76.5K in early October and a slight dip to approximately 52.7K towards the end of December. Active users for the app saw an increase from roughly 468K to 570K over the quarter.

QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at about 67.8K in late September and ending at approximately 76.5K in the last week of December. The number of active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 520K and 602K throughout the quarter.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. had a significant spike in downloads, reaching around 97K in the week of December 19. Active users also saw a major increase, from about 73.1K at the beginning of the quarter to 146.6K in mid-December.

Lift Cleaner: Junk Clean from Lift C saw a substantial rise in both downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at approximately 75K in the final week of December, while active users grew from around 17.8K in late September to 137K by the end of December. The app also generated revenue, peaking at $275 in mid-December.
